Rhythm, Rhyme & Story-time

Read together, listen to stories, explore the rhythm of words around you as we gather together for literacy fun and language development!

Early childhood experts believe that each child learns from rich and varied literacy experiences.

In Rhythm, Rhyme, Story-time, we nurture your children’s natural curiosity for learning as we listen and interact with stories, chant, play with props and read in an informal setting that will enrich their communication connections with you!

Who: Infants, toddlers, preschoolers (0-3) and the adults who love them!

When: Fridays at 10:15 a.m.

Where: Contact Angela for the location at angela@learning-world.org or call 314-359-2161

Guidelines for Class – Let’s Take CARE

Cell phones remain in purses or pockets please

Keep conversation between adults to a minimum (so you are completely present with your child)

Allow your little one free movement (the songs and rhymes bring out extra wiggles!)

Remember to wipe clean any shared book or toy

Eat—before and after—(not during our time together please)

Take CARE – we are here to learn together.

Balance the time learning together! When you demonstrate your active listening and participation, your children will observe your example and follow accordingly!
